Shipping Information

Shipping Charges

Shipping Charges are not automatically calculated by the Online Order Form. Because shipping charges are dependent upon the method of shipping and based on the size and weight of your order after packing we are unable to give you shipping cost prior to you submitting your order. Please note that you may incur additional handling charges based on the products you ordered or the method of shipping. If you select COD as your method of payment, you will incur an additional $10 charge.  If you order materials classified as hazardous, you will incur an additional $20 per box charge.  Only the metal prep items (ie - aluminum cleaner & conditioner) are classified as HAZMAT.  All other chemicals can be shipped ORMD without any HAZMAT fees.  All of the wet goods, or chemicals, ship out of Texas, and all of the dry goods ship out of Illinois.  If you order dry goods and wet goods together, you will receive two shipments, and you will have to pay two shipping charges.  All fabric orders over 5 yards will be shipped on a 6-foot tube in a box.  Extra shipping charges will be incurred because of dimensional weights.

COD Shipping

Customers are able to order COD but are subject to applicable UPS COD charges plus regular shipping charges. All orders over $100 will be COD Certified Check unless prior approval is obtained.

Shortages & Damages

Open and examine all packages promptly. Notify the Superflite Customer Service Department of any discrepancies in the order. All shortages and damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the order.

Truck Freight

If the merchandise is received in damaged condition or the carrier fails to deliver the entire shipment as shown on the Bill of Lading covering motor freight delivery, make note of the damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading and ask the driver to sign it. Then call the terminal office of the carrier and institute a claim for the loss or damage.

UPS

If a package delivered by UPS arrives damaged, report this to the driver immediately. Inspect contents and notify Superflite within 24 hours of receipt.

Alaska and Hawaii

Although a part of the US, because the product does get on airplane (UPS Ground or not), Superflite currently cannot ship chemicals or wet goods into Alaska or Hawaii.  Product either needs to be shipped through a freight forwarder or purchased through a distributor in the area.

International Shipping

At this time, only the dry goods are available for international shipping.  If you are an overseas customer, and you would like to order any of the Superflite chemicals, you will have to arrange your own shipping through a freight forwarder.  Please note that you may also incur additional packaging charges.

Chemicals and dry goods are housed in two separate locations.  If you order fabric and wet goods at one time, you will receive two separate shipments, and you will have to pay two separate shipping charges.
