SF102 tapes are cut from Superflite's certified medium-weight polyester fabric and are the standard choice for aircraft covered with SF102 fabric.

They come in widths of 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4 and 6 inches, in four styles. Straight edge tapes are easier to sand and leave a less noticeable tape edge under paint. Pinked edge tapes provide about 40 percent more adhesion and a classic look. Bias tapes are cut diagonally for more stretch around curves and edges. Pre-shrunk tapes have less than 3 percent shrinkage left, ideal for ribs, longerons and dark paint. Standard rolls are 50 yards.

Attach with U500 adhesive thinned for surface tapes.
