Superwash is Superflite's alcohol-based fabric cleaner, used to clean polyester aircraft fabric after it has been attached and shrunk and before you apply System 7 fabric primer.

Handling fabric during covering leaves behind skin oils, dirt and adhesive residue that can interfere with primer adhesion. Wiping the fabric down with Superwash removes those contaminants so your primer bonds properly and your finish comes out clean. Superwash is sold by the gallon.

See our Tech Info page and the System 7 manual for the full covering and prep sequence, and always read the SDS before use.
