Superflite U500 is the air-dry fabric adhesive used throughout the System 7 covering process. It attaches polyester fabric to the airframe and surface tapes to the fabric, and it is green so you can easily see where it has been applied.

Thin U500 only with acetone or MEK. Use 2 parts U500 to 1 part solvent when attaching fabric, and about 1 part U500 to 2 or 3 parts solvent when applying surface tapes. U500 is an adhesive only and should not be used as a fabric filler.

U500 is available in pints, quarts and gallons. Apply it with the Gluemaster glue gun, and strain it with our fine mesh paint strainers.
