Bias tapes are cut diagonally across the weave of the fabric, which gives them more give and stretch than standard tapes. That makes them the right choice for wrapping curves, leading and trailing edges, wingtips and other contoured areas where a straight-cut tape would wrinkle.

Superflite bias tapes are available in SF102 medium weight and SF104 lightweight fabric, in 2-inch, 3-inch and 4-inch widths, with pinked or straight edges. Pinked edges provide more adhesion and a classic look, while straight edges are easier to sand and leave a less visible tape line under paint.

Match your tape weight to your fabric, and attach with U500 adhesive thinned for surface tapes.
